About Corus Quay & George Brown College

In 2012, George Brown College opened its new Health Sciences Campus to more than 3500 students and 600 employees.

Designed by Stantec Architecture and Kuwabara Payne McKenna Blumberg Architects, the new campus houses the College’s schools of dental health, health and wellness, nursing and health services management. This cutting-edge facility promotes a collaborative and sustainable learning environment, while adding vitality and diversity to the East Bayfront area.

To the west of George Brown College is Corus Quay – home to one of Canada’s leading media and entertainment companies. In 2010, Corus Entertainment moved its corporate headquarters along with 1,200 professionals to the 46,500m² facility in East Bayfront. Developed by the Toronto Port Lands Company (TPLC) and designed by Diamond and Schmitt Architects, Corus Quay features a green roof, a five-storey green living wall for air filtration and three public art installations by award winning UK artists Troika.
