Just minutes from some of Toronto’s oldest neighbourhoods, this stunning park brings people and nature together.

About Corktown Common

Corktown Common is the centrepiece of the West Don Lands community.

Innovatively integrated with the area’s flood protection landform, this 7.3 hectare park invites visitors to explore its diverse landscape and indulge in its unrivaled views of the Toronto skyline and beyond.

From toboggan hills to an off-leash dog area and connections to the city’s extensive trail network, the park has plenty for outdoor enthusiasts. Corktown Common also offers large gathering space for organized events, picnics and barbecues, as well as children’s playgrounds and a splash pad.

The striking and sustainable pavilion at the play hill is as practical as it is beautiful. It houses the park’s drinking fountains, washrooms, management office, storm-water equipment and a utility space. The park was designed to take full advantage of the exceptional topography provided by the flood protection landform, creating a magnificent public amenity that leverages essential public infrastructure.
